Knoxville Preserves
Personal stories are precious treasures of the past told by loved ones of our present. They reveal our shared humanity - who we are and where we came from. They delight us and they inspire us. They can even cause us to consider living our lives differently. That is why CTV wants to hear your personal story.
CTV is actively collecting audio recordings of personal stories from residents all over Knox County through an ongoing project we call Knoxville Preserves. Knoxville Preserves is both; an oral history project and a unique way to help build our community today. Our aim is to capture, share and preserve the heart and fiber of our community today for future generations.
We hope you will consider contributing an audio recording of one of your personal stories to help build our collection of Knoxville Preserves. We know you will enjoy listening to the stories submitted by other residents and we are equally certain they will enjoy hearing yours. It is so true that there is no better way to teach the value of listening than to experience the joy of listening to stories that reveal our shared humanity.
